Editorial Rules for directory submissions

In order to maintain a high quality vacation rental directory the following rules must be strictly adhered to. Please read them before submitting your listing(s) to the directory.

All web sites submitted to VRWD.com must meet the following minimum criteria:

The site must be about vacation rentals (if your site is NOT solely about vacation rentals, you must submit the direct link to the vacation rental section of your site);

The site must be up and running 24/7;

The site must contain unique content, as determined by a VRWD editor;

The site must not contain any parts under construction;

The site must clearly define its purpose, products, and/or services;

All links on the site must work;

The site must be in the English language (or have an English version available);

The site must support multiple browsers and capabilities;

The site must not contain any content, products, services or other information that may be illegal to sell under any applicable law, that may infringe or violate anyone's rights, or that, VRWD believes, in its sole discretion, is offensive.

Submit your site to the most appropriate category in the directory. For example, a vacation rental site with homes in Fort Lauderdale should go in the 'Fort Lauderdale' category rather than 'Florida.' However, if you choose to add your listing in more than one category you can also add it under 'Southern Florida' and 'Florida.'

Always enter the official name of the website or organization as the title.

Do not use ALL CAPITAL letters. They will be removed and may slow the approval process.

Avoid capitalizing every word in a sentence.

Do not use any HTML tags in your site title, description or keywords.

Don't repeat the title of your site in the description.

Try to avoid superlatives such as "biggest", "best", "#1", etc. Such phrases may be removed by the editors.

Please note that the above listed are the minimum site criteria only, and VRWD editors use additional factors in deciding whether or not to accept your site for inclusion.

Selection and listing of sites:
VRWD reserves the right to decide whether, where, and how a site is listed. If VRWD accepts your site, VRWD reserves the right to list your site in any category or subcategory as VRWD deems appropriate, in its sole discretion. VRWD reserves the right not to include any specific keywords in the title or description of your site. VRWD also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove your site from the Directory, move the listing to a different category or subcategory, and change or remove any keywords at any time, for any reason.
VRWD makes no representations or warranties whatsoever about any of the content of this web site or about content of any other web site which you may access by hypertext link through this web site.
