We have coconut, mango, soursop, banana, avocado, lime, cashew trees as well as poor man orchids, african tulip trees, flambouyant and huge palms on this property. There are many species of birds to view from your private deck, including emerald hummingbirds, yellow-breasted, banana-quits, (aka sugar birds named for their propensity to eat sugar placed on a railing for them), green parrots, red-tail hawks, just to name a few. Your privacy is assured in this safe,serene and private location. There is a newly renovated kitchen with an electric stove and full-sized refrigerator. It has all silverware, glassware, dishware, bakeware, pots, pans and cooking utensils, should you feel like dining at home. There is a propane grill and outdoor furniture for lounging on the deck and dining 'al fresco' while sipping a frozen drink and watching the colors of the sky and ocean as the day changes and dusk settles in. The living room is tastefully furnished with a rattan sofa and chair in a colorful, tropical print. There is 20 inch TV with expanded cable service, DVD player, radio with AM/FM/CD player, telephone with local phone service. Guests are requested to use their cell phones or purchase calling cards for their long distance phone calls. There is a king-sized bed with comfy pillows. There is lots of drawer and closet space in the bedroom. There are beautiful ocean views from every window. There are ceiling and walls fans to enhance our cool tropical breezes. Our winters can be chilly so you will want to pack a sweater or jacket for the evenings. There are plenty of hangers and an iron and ironing board should you need them. There are laundry facilities available for your use. We are minutes from Hull Bay Beach if you feel like a 'quick dip,' a cold drink, or a bite to eat before starting or ending your day. There are also 3 restaurants in the immediate area that serve good meals in a casual atmosphere if you are to tired from a fun-filled day in the sun to travel far. We are minutes away from Mountain Top with its tasty frozen drinks and panoramic views, world famous, mile long, Magens Bay Beach, Mahogany Run Golf Course, Coral World Marine Park and our beautiful, historic town of Charlotte Amalie with 'duty free shopping.' Take your car on the barge over to St. John to spend the day exploring the National Park and all their lovely beaches! There are a wide variety of restaurants, sailing, diving and fishing trips and other exciting excursions from which to choose. We are happy to recommend our favorites. Trips to the British Virgin Islands require a passport so be sure to bring yours. A rental car is a must here and we are happy to refer you to the agency that the majority of out guests use or we can help you with other arrangements.
