Arkansas Riverside Home sits right on the rushing river herself! Located on the very west side of Canon City ends on a quiet agriculture street where a large nursery that backs up to blm land. For this reason wildlive are our constant neighbors and even a bear can often be seen sleeping in the arms of a 100 year old oak tree that run along the river. Two bedrooms and one futon couch in the living room sleeps 6 comfortably. A large kitchen and dining room makes for a fun dinner time. Outdoor patios and bbq will allow a nice evening with friends or family. Dishwasher and washer/dryer are in the home so you can spend more time outdoors. Wireless connection is onsite with a speaker system to share the good music with friends and family. dvd player and television are in the living room to relax after a busy day under the sun. Rafters, kyakers, fishermen, bird watchers, hikers and all those who come to see the Royal Gorge are in our area to enjoy the beauty of south central colorado. Buckskin joes and the amusement park are within the same distance. We also have gamblin at cripple creek, an hour away and they recently added craps and roulette with a betting limit now at $100.So c'mon down and enjoy the last of the wild frontier in southern colorado. Reservations fill up quick so get your available date and deposit it as quick as ya can.

Area Description: Activities that involve the Arkansas River are numerous but also include the most white water rafting in the US, kyaking, fly fishing, tubing, archery and hunting. Nearby is the Royal Gorge, Buckskin Joes, Amusement park at the Royal Gorge.
Nearby towns that offer their own spectacular views are Salida and Westcliffe.
Canon City has a summer full of entertainment waiting for you. Downtown features excellent mexican, fine french, oriental and a brewery with a fine menu all within blocks. Oh and don't miss Pizza Madness! Tues night features local music at the veterans parks and the Riverwalk is 7 miles of walking pleasure along the river. Have you ever seen Skyline drive? Ask any one in town for that frightening thrill.

Should you choose to cancel prior to the 2 week deadline, a full refund of the deposit will be returned to you.

Good Thyme Cafe serves excellent food as well as a premium mexican food restaurant called Forastero, not to be outdone a bit of good ol' English food McClellans Grill & Brewery Co. Ice Cream and a candy store called "Fandies" for dessert as you stroll past Hallmark or our clothing stores.

Canon City events and those at the Abbey. A hundred yr old Catholic church and school consists of our own winery & 17 acres for events or just a long lovely stroll.
