The Grand Case Cottage is located on the French side of historic St. Martin. It is in the charming village of Grand Case which is known as the Gourmet Capital of the Caribbean. The villa has wonderful shops, restaurants, lowkey bars and local ladies cooking their best food for you to eat and enjoy. While you stay in the Villalady’s Grand Case Cottage, you will be able to go down the steps to a very quiet calm beach. The garden is between the main street and the sea. You walk onto the maion street and enjoy a tropical assortment of St. Martin activities. Choose from shopping, nightly entertainment, St. Martin Island tours, snorkeling and fishing rentals, and many other waterfront activities that are available nera-by. The fun of St. Martin does not stop there! You have public transportation to take you to the "big towns" of Phillipsburgh and Marigot to shop for all sorts of duty free goods. Pack a lunch and take an adventure to the nearby beaches of Orient, Anse Marcal, and Pinel. Or just bus over and have marvelous lunches and enjoy water sports on the various beaches.
Inside this island Grand Case Cottage, you will see that it is equipped with a full kitchen and supplies. You have a bathroom with shower. This casual waterfront property rental includes one bedroom loaded with two twin-size beds, which can be converted into a king –size bed. The bedroom includes air conditioning for a cozy night’s rest away from the warm air of the tropics. A bathroom shower is also available to wash your sand covered legs while at the St. Martin beaches. To add to the tropical breezes, we offer large ceiling fans for you to enjoy. The kitchen in this Grand Case Cottage is well stocked and fully equipped with utensils, glassware, and dishes. To complete the package, Villalady has included a stove, refrigerator, sink, and coffeemaker and microwave. We have a charcoal grill outside for you to do your own cooking if you wish.
The terrace of the Grand Case Cottage is shaded to escape from the sun, and enjoy being lazy at this St. Martin vacation rental. The patio furniture is available for you to enjoy a good book as well as the St. Martin atmosphere. You will be amazed at how peaceful and relaxing it can be while staying at this quaint vacation cottage in St. Martin. Area Description: Grand case is unique as it is one of few remaining spots on the island that has not changed very much. The streets are quiet during the day and start to fill up in the evening as people from all over the island come to enjoy the best food on the island.
We have wonderful shops to browse in. There are Art galleries that exhibit local artists creations and other imports form the rest of the Caribbean.
There are local ladies that have a small square in the middle of town where they sell their home cooked ribs and chicken and other specialties for you to enjoy at the cottage or to eat right there.
There are special Fete nights where artists and shops have their goods on display and the town is transformed into a 10 block festival. There are held in season usually on a Tuesday night.
