Description - Big Island Hawaii Vacation Homes
This Big Island Hawaii tropical home features open-beamed ceilings and panoramic tropical and ocean views. You can watch the lights from passing cruise ships at night from the lanai. You can take a short 15 minute walk to Champagne Pond or ride our bicycles to Champagne Pond or other ocean access areas to snorkel and swim with honu (seaturtles). Outside in a gazebo near the house is a full-featured spa for your relaxation and enjoyment, and an outdoor shower to rinse off after your swimming and snorkeling.The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, blender, coffee maker, range, refrigerator, and all cooking and dining needs. There is a generous living and dining area opening onto the lanai, a queen-size bed in the upstairs bedroom and full bath. For extra guests, the second bedroom, downstairs, has two double-size beds and another full bath. And for your evenings, there is a satellite TV/VCR, a nice CD player, and an assortment of videos and CDs; and for those who would rather curl up with a book, there are lots to choose from. All linens and towels are supplied. We also have an ice chest for day trips, beach towels, and bicycles!
Located in a quiet, oceanfront, gated community with easy accessibility to Kapoho Bay and the ocean itself, there are several calm lagoons for swimming and snorkeling. Some of the lagoons are even heated by geothermal fresh-water springs! A guide-map at the house will direct you to all the best spots. The famous Champagne Pond is about a 10-15 minute walk, but we offer bicycles for our guests to ride over to the ponds! Just five minutes south of the property is the Wai'opae Marine Preserve for more great snorkeling and reef exploring!

Area Description: Kapoho is located on the Eastern tip of the Big Island, one of the last spots in Hawaii with no resorts or condos, just sunny beautifull weather and a taste of the Hawaii of old! Kapoho on the Big Island of Hawaii is the perfect place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle & bustle of city life. There is a much slower pace here - and the snorkeling and swimming in nearby Wai'opae Marine Sanctuary in Vacationland, and Champagne Pond in the Kapoho gated community are fabulous! There are farmer's markets nearby in Makuu on Sundays and in Hilo on Wednesday and Saturdays. The quaint town of Pahoa boasts some great restaurants - Thai Food, Mexican, and others. Kaleo's is great.
The Pualani Tropical Dream House in Kapoho is a great spot to relax and be close to Volcano National Park, Kapoho tidepools, botanical gardens, olympic size pool in Pahoa (free!), Lava Tree State Park, the scenice Red Road, and lava view not too far away!

Rental Rates for this Vacation Rental Property
$140/night for two guests, additional $10/night for each additional guest. Weekly rates $895/week for two.

- Cleaning fee: $85
- Other fees: Refundable $300 security deposit
- Security deposit: 50%
- Lodging Tax: 11%
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: In case of cancellation by the renter, he or she shall have right to a full reimbursement (deposit+stay), minus 20% for administrative fees, if the owner is able to rent the property for the same rental period. However, the renter shall have no right to reimbursement if the owner is unable to rent the property for the same rental period. Furthermore, no credit shall be given for late arrivals or early departures. We strongly recommend to purchase travel insurance, in case your plans change or you cannot travel. We will always try to reschedule a booking whenever possible. If we are unable to re-rent for the canceled period, all rents paid, processing fees, & taxes will be forfeited as damages

Outdoor shower and hot tub in the yard for guests to use. I also have 4 bikes for guests to use - great way to find the great ocean access spot for swimming and snorkeling.
