It is estimated that 10% of the world?s population visits a zoo sometime during the year. This makes our establishments the perfect platform for raising public awareness about the issues facing animal species and the environment, and in particular offers the opportunity to focus on our younger visitors through educational programmes and school trips.
One of Fuengirola Zoo?s main concerns is to get across to future generations the fragility of natural ecosystems and the impact which human activity has on them.

Parque Aquatico Mijas -Fuengirola
Escape the hot beaches and visit the Parque Acu?tico Mijas water park, which offers plenty of pools and crazy slides as well as picnic areas and restaurants.Start with the Body Ski, a medium-speed family slide, before plucking up courage to go on the Labyrinth, where slides take you on twists and turns before throwing you out into the pool. If you want more, the wild river takes you on a ride on a float and the kamikaze slide is a sheer three-storey drop. The Adventure River claims to be "the wildest ride you've ever had".

Crocodile Park Torremolinos
Situated in Torremolinos in the heart of the Costa del Sol. Crocodile Park houses prehistoric creatures which have miraculously survived 200 million years of evolution. These carnivores knew the dinosaurs and use the same cold, merciless hunting tecniques. From a distance of less than 2 metres, you can wonder at the gigantic crocodiles by silently walking beside them, observing the secrets of one of the most fascinating creatures of our world.Children also have the opportunity to hold a baby crocodile.

Benalmadena cable car
Situated right next to Tivoli World, the Benalmadena Cablecar runs to the summit of Monte Calamorro. From the top you can enjoy fantastic views over the Costa del Sol, Sierra Nevada and on clear days of Gibraltar and the North African coast. Each of the cars has space for four people and the journey takes approximately 15 minutes. At the top there is a cafeteria with terrace overlooking the coast. Donkey rides, exhibitions of birds of prey and Spanish horse riding exhibitions are included in the price of the ticket. For those who are feeling more energetic there are paths to walk back down or even to mountain bike down. The cable cars can carry bikes.
