Barbados Location Type: Near the Ocean Nearest Airport: Grantly Adams International Airport Miles Area Description: We are situated 4 minutes walk from the Bus Stop. Buses pass either way every 15 minutes or less taking you either way to Bridgetown or Speightstown or the By-pass bus to Oistins. Oistins is famous on a Friday evening for both locals and tourists to get together and party, dance and eat fish of many varieties along with rice and peas and macaroni pie all local dishes. Purchase the local crafts and jewelry from the stalls along the seafront within the complex. Nearby Holetown has much to offer Watersports, Tennis, Boat-trips to swim with the Turtles and in a Shipwreck with the colourful fish. Every Sunday evening there is a street party with Karioke and Holetown has many restaurants. A trip to Bridgetown for Duty Free Shopping and many historical places to visit. Speightstown is the oldest Town on the Island. There is a major bus staion there where you can change buses and take a trip to the East Coast to see Bathsheba.
