Pacific Ocean swimming and recreation at the sandy beach of Matanchen is less than a ten-minute walk from the house.
Airport transfer and local buses to the northern Riviera Nayarit are available from Puerto Vallarta (two-hour drive) and Guadalajara (four-hour drive). It is less convenient, but it is quite possible to visit without a car.
