Perched atop Fisher Hill in Boothbay Harbor sits Little House--just around the corner from bustling downtown with wonderful shops and restaurants. There is a peek at the Harbor--on a clear day you can see Burnt Island Light! Just right for four people, it has a fireplace in the living room; a dining room; spacious kitchen; two bedrooms and a bath. Little House comes complete with everything necessary for food preparation and a lovely dining room for family meals and games. For your entertainment, there is network television; a VCR/DVD player; CD player and, of course, puzzles and board games! Our favorite thing is to curl up with a novel from the supply in the reading nook. For chilly days, firewood is provided. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed and the second has two twin beds. Guests may supply their own linens or subscribe to optional linen service for an extra fee. Well-behaved dogs will be considered for an extra fee. This is a smoke-free establishment. Boothbay Harbor is a classic New England seaport. This small community is becoming, once again, the wooden boat building center of the east coast. The scooner 'Bounty' is being refurbished in the harbor. Nearby Pemiquid Lighthouse and the rocky coast is a must-see. A visit to the Railroad Village and the Aquarium will thrill the children. The whole family will enjoy cruising out into the Bay of Maine to see whales, harbor seals and the many islands that dot the seascape. Community theater, band concerts on the commons, Windjammer Days, fireworks over the Harbor, and homemade ice cream make life grand in the summertime in Boothbay Harbor!
