A cosy self containing stone house only 30 minute drive to Sada with its sandy beach.Comfortable and can be enjoyed all year round with wood burning stove in the sitting room (Logs are provided)
Well equipped kitchen with an electric oven and a 4 ring hob, also there are plenty of places to eat out nearby.
There is a master bedroom on suite and the other room has twin beds with a seperate bathroom.
The sitting room has a 4 seater sofa and wood furniture.
Well water, French windows and doors and fantastic views of the countryside.
We speak English.

Area Description: Betanzos is located in la Coruna province. It is situated some 20 minutes inland from la Coruna city and 40 minutes from Santiago de Compostela. It is one of several traditional Galician towns bidding to make an impact on foreign tourism.
Betanzos certainly has a plenty going for it. Firstly its location makes it simple to find with the AP9 and A6 toll roads running close by. Like most Galician towns, the older parts of Betanzos are situated around an estuarial river, or in this case the convergence of two, the rio Mendo and the rio Mandeo. One of Betanzos’s festivals involves the decorating of its many local boats for a floral flotilla.

We have recently returned to England after spending a wonderful week in Galicia, staying in the 2 bedroomed stone cottage with some friends and exploring Galicia. The cottage was so comfortable & everything we needed was available. The surrounding countryside was so beautiful, unspoilt & peaceful and we enjoyed lovely walks. One day we walked into the local town where there are friendly bars serving tapas and there are many fabulous restaurants nearby. The local town sells everything you need, with two supermarkets and a bread shop an a large market. The local wine is delicious & priced at 1 euro 15 cents a bottle, we managed to sample quite a lot! Tony & Sue were so helpful & made sure that we had a lovely holiday - nothing was too much trouble! Thank you so much to both of you for making our time so enjoyable - we cannot wait to return! Esencia Rustica, Spain is deep and authenticity of the campaign and especially its people. People are simple true and so friendly. Discoveries are at hand: a fifty kilometers from Santiago de Compostela, A Coruna and Lugo. Sue and Tony were gracious hosts and so welcoming. We had a lovely week's holiday in Cottage No. 2 in June 2010. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was cool for a couple of nights, so we lit the wood burning stove; it was so homely. Then we had four warm sunny days and enjoyed walking in the beautiful countryside. We had a hire car and visited Santiago de Compostela. Magnificent buildings ,great history and marvellous shops . We also went to Betanzos, a charming typically Spanish town, and to nearby Sada with it's lovely beach. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, and we will be back next year.
