Description - Cozy Cottage (3Bdr/2ba) 150 yds to the beach.
Our cottage is nestled in the woods and just 150 yards to the beach. The beach is what drew us to Kiawah Island many years ago. It is 10 miles long and 100 yards wide at low tide...with a gentle slope...ideal for all ages.We have recently remodeled our cottage with all new appliances in the kitchen and upgraded both bathrooms. We installed the Rinnai water heating system which provides unlimited hot water. We have a large deck, ideal for sunbathing or just enjoying the Spanish moss hanging from the trees that surround the cottage.
Our cottage is cozy and ideal for a secluded get-away. It is also very convenient to all the ammenities of Kiawah Island and nearby Charleston, SC.

Area Description: On Kiawah Island, in addition to the beautiful beach, there are five golf courses. There is also a Nature Center at Night Heron Park only about 500 yards from our cottage. Nearby, within a 5 mile drive, are several restaurants and Bohicket Marina where you can charter a fishing boat or a sailboat.
In nearby Charleston (20 miles away) there are historic tours and sights, and a new Aquarium. You can tour the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown and a submarine, visit Fort Sumter, and palatial plantations, attend a symphpony or a ballet, and enjoy many restaurants.
