CyberRentals was founded in 1987 by Hunter Melville and Dave Bollinger. CyberRentals.com is the original worldwide on-line vacation rental listing directory. Recognized as an industry leader in publications ranging from the Wall St. Journal to Yankee Magazine, CyberRentals.com has received many awards, including being named to the 2005 list of "Best on the Web" by Forbes magazine. CyberRentals.com is today one of the largest worldwide collections of vacation rental properties, serving millions of renters seeking the perfect vacation, and over 15,000 vacation rental property owners seeking perfect renters. Originally property managers, Hunter and Dave became frustrated with the limited marketing options available for promoting their unique vacation opportunities through a variety of inefficient resources—newspaper and magazine ads, and brochures—and recognized the need for reasonably priced marketing channels for property owners.
