It is an elegant and well-equipped 78 square metre non-smoking self-catering holiday apartment in the 3rd district named Obuda, close to Margaret Island, Castle district and Thermal Baths/Spa, on the 2nd floor of a Bauhaus-style building (1940). 
 
Comfortable up to 6 people, with a quiet garden-side balcony. 
-> There is two bedrooms, both with cozy queen-size beds, a living room with a double sofa-bed. 
-> There is a separated, fully equipped kitchen with a table for four people and a beautiful dining room with an Art Deco table and six chairs. 
-> The master bedroom has a cosy garden-side balcony, with flowers and chairs. 
-> The living room has a little balcony on the street side (but also quiet). 
 
There is no reconstruction works in the street: no noise, no dust, but the downtown is very close. The neighbouring area is famous for its restaurants (Kerék, Zöld Kapu, Sipos fish restaurant). 
 
Parking in the street (zone gratis). 
 
Main tourist sights are within reach by the nearby excellent public transportation facilities or by foot. The Lukács Thermal Bath is only 4 tram stops away or 15 min. by foot. 
It is also suitable for long term rental as it is comfortable, spacious, bright and calm.

Area Description: Obuda (Old Buda) is the oldest part of Budapest situated in Buda. District 3 lies on the ruins of the huge, ancient military camp of Roman legionaries called Acquincum, the northernmost frontier of the Roman Empire in continental Europe. Consequently, several amphitheatres and artifacts have been unearthed here. Medieval Obuda used to be a suburb filled with silk refineries and boat factories, forming part of Budapest by the time of its unification in 1873. Obuda was inhabited mostly by german-speaking Swabian farmers, and, because of its village-like atmosphere, was a favorite place of the petite bourgeoisie of Pest for outings.
