An elegant apartment of 100 square meters in a lordly condominium in Gregorio VII street in Rome, to experience the emotions of a walk in 20 centuries of history, spending several hours in the nearby and beautiful park of Villa Doria Pamphili or joined the renewed beaches of the coast with the summer “movida” or enjoy the charming Roman country towards to Bracciano’s Lake.
All this can be possible without the car to get to S.Peter‘s church with a walk of 15 minutes or by using the various bus lines, connected to the subway and to all monuments of the center.
The area is served with supermarkets, public gardens and transports that make the permanence comfortable, enjoyable and practical.
The location makes the accommodation an ideal base for any visit to the Rome’s adjacent cities as Tivoli, the Etruscan beautiful city of Tarquinia and those of Umbria like Todi and Orvieto.
The apartment newly renovated, has marble and wooden floors, is completely furnished with delicate and fine furniture just to let the "traveler" feel at home.
It is composed with a fully equipped kitchen, double living room, one "unique" queen bedrooms, a large twin bedroom bathroom, sleeps for 6.
All linens and towels are provided for the stay and upon request, it is possible organize the ‘’Shuttle’’ to and from Fiumicino‘s airport and the purchase of the food and drinks you want find at your arrival to let you just relax.
The owners are available for any advice and, on request, for organization of any visits to the cities close by.

With only 4 bus stop you will be in S.Peter's Churc, in Vatican.
In 10 Minutes by bus you can be in Piazza Navona, Roman's Forum and the Colosseum.
The underground is only 10 minute walk by the house. For that is very simple organize trip for the beautifull and ancient cities sourronding Rome.
Bracciano's Lake is easy to reach to spend a full day visiting the ancient city of Bracciano and to visit the fascinating Castle.
Tivoli has the most beautifull ancient romanic villa, the famous Villa Adriana, Villa d'Este with wonderfull water games and Villa Gregoriana.
With only one bus line you can reach the ancient etrusca city of Tarquinia with the famous necropoli.

Below two week there is no refund

This apartment was an incredible bargain! The location, atmosphere, and hospitality were tremendous. The location was perfect. Restaurants, supermarkets, and a metro stop were all within a ten minute walk and the bus stop was directly in front of the apartment making it easy to get around Rome. The apartment was very well decorated and made it a pleasure to "come home" after long days of sight seeing. The owners have truly made this an inviting "home" for travelers. Marco and Alessandra were extremely nice and helpful. They even picked us up at the train station and gave us a little tour by car on the way to the house! Also, they both spoke English. When we arrived at their beautiful house, there were groceries in the fridge and an Italian antipasto spread on the table, complete with champagne to celebrate our visit. They were very accommodating of our small children, setting up a pack n' play and an extra bed on our request. We found everything to be clean, comfortable and charming. It is about 2 miles from Vatican City, but easily accessible by both bus and metro, even with small children. Be advised that the buses do not return to that area after midnight, although taxis certainly do. There is also a nice grocery store just a few blocks away that made cooking at the house very easy (the kitchen is lovely and very well-equipped). For us, it was an amazing stay in a lovely house. We were a bit worried about the lodging, but once arrived we relized that it was the right choice. Marco and Alessandra, the owners, have been wonderful. They gave us all the information we needed and were very kind and available for all. The house is very clean, elegant and confortable at a very affordable price just a mile away from the Vatican city. We will come back again for sure. Thanks again Mark - Sep 11, 2009 |
