Hyde Park is across the street to the north; Harrods and the Knightsbridge Underground station across the street to the south. There are restaurants, a pub, and famous stores on the lower floors of the building. The third floor apartment (elevator) satisfies the visitor's need for comfort and quiet. All rooms are charmingly furnished in the English manner to the high standards of one's own home rather than those of a rental unit--in fact, #30 is our own home when we are in London. The living room has TV/stereo/DVD player and computer with high speed internet access. The kitchen has all appliances and washer and dryer. The main bedroom has side by side twin beds and an ensuite tiled bathroom with a tub and shower. The second bedroom has a tiled shower. There is a porter on the main entrance to the building 24 hours a day.
