There is a friendly local shop and a traditional inn with good food and real ales just a short walk away. Challacombe is a small village on Exmoor, ideally placed to explore the National Park and the spectacular coastline of north Devon. The Farmhouse accommodates six people with plenty of space. There is a seperate sitting room (with inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove), dining room and kitchen (with Rayburn, freezer and dishwasher) and a laundry room with downstairs WC. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a bathroom and shower room (both with WC's). The Gatehouse accommodates up to five people in two bedrooms, a double and a triple (with single bed and bunks). There is a large living room with beamed ceilings and log burning stove and french doors out to the gardens. Inglenook Cottage accommodates four people comfortably in two bedrooms. There is a large living room (with inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove), a seperate kitchen and an upstairs bathroom with WC. Garden Cottage is all on the ground floor level and accommodates up to four people in two bedrooms. The large living room has beamed ceilings, a log burning stove and french doors out to a small private enclosed garden. |
