As the year 2000 unfolded, an old cut stone building was restored into a spectacular 3 bedroom villa. Sitting moments away from the rivers swimming hole, River Cottage is ideal for a small family gathering or for a small group of friends, or for retreat participants. All bedrooms are air-conditioned with private bathrooms.<br /> <br /> Perfect for large weddings!!!!<br /> <br /> Decorated with works of local artisans and using native bullet wood lumber to create the oversized balcony, River Cottage is yet another dream come true. This lovely cottage has the most wonderful original antiques; the beds are of carved mahogany and original buffet tables and side tables with historic value. The owner of this wonderful estate has taken care with the perfect selection of furnishings, antiques and art pieces, to reflect the grand history of this plantation.<br /> <br /> A large garden with tropical flowers and a lagoon like pool simply lures you into the mood of enjoyment and relaxation.<br /> <br /> River Cottage is a 5 - 8 minute walk to Good Hope Country House, the stables and pottery studio.<br /> <br /> Good Hope has 10 bedrooms + River Cottage with 3 bedrooms, and can be rented for a total of 13 bedrooms. If you need 3 other bedrooms, the owners cottage can be rented for a total of 16 bedrooms.<br /> <br /> <br /> River Cottage:<br /> <br /> 3 air-conditioned bedrooms, each with their own bath or shower. It is popular for the cooks to have an open BBQ by the river if you wish.
