Prepare meals in the well-equipped and spacious country kitchen and serve them in the comfortable and warm dining area.
The entire 1920’s home is fully upgraded and modernized, beautifully furnished, with rugs, tasteful pictures, mirrors and comfortable chairs throughout. Dimmable lighting everywhere and mahogany furniture, even in the bathrooms. Outside is a beautiful large walled garden, filled with flowering bushes and trees and a private side patio for barbecues or just for quiet reading or a glass of wine.
The house stays cool inside on the hottest summer days, yet comfortable and warm at night. It is only a few hundred yards from Highway 1 and only 2 miles' drive to downtown Santa Cruz. The nearest beach, Seabright, is 1 ½ miles drive from the house. Highway 1, one minute away, provides quick and convenient access to all the local beaches, Capitola and all the other wonderful locations in Monterey Bay.
