We had a wonderfully relaxed stay at Harbor Breeze Villas. We were greeted by Nancy at the airport, as she drove us to the villa she gave us loads of local tips and took us on a mini tour of Clarence Town. Ellis and Ingrid welcomed us on arrival, they even gave us the option to check out another villa but we were more than pleased with the ‘Paradise’ villa we had booked. The villa was exceptional, super new and modern and beautifully decorated, the bathroom was outstanding and I loved the high bed! We had cable and internet, a fully equipped kitchen, separate dining and lounge areas, although my favourite part of the villa was the balcony and the stunning vista over the treetops to the bay. The view of the sparkling turquoise waters was breath-taking, I loved sitting there with a glass of wine after a day of bike riding and snorkelling, so peaceful. The beach at Lochabar Bay is a 2 minute walk from the villa, a beautiful white sandy beach with crystal clear water, we only saw 1 other couple, very private and secluded. Galloways beach is another local beach that is a 15 minute bike ride or 5 minute drive, it goes forever, there is an amazing road parallel to the beach that you can you can follow on your bike or car to explore. On the recommendation of Nancy and Ellis we headed to the local fish fry/ bar for dinner a few times in Clarence Town near the Flying Fish Marina. Super fresh fish, cold beers and a great place to hang with the locals and travelling fisherman. It’s location over the water is very picturesque and perfect for star gazing.
