Situated about 18 Km to Halifax, this area is pretty much rural and remote from the city. The night's are dark and noiseless with no glare on the clouds from the city. You can enjoy the Milky Way in all it's glory on a clear night. If you are lucky and there is a full moon when you are here, it makes a spectacular moonrise directly over the bay and is quite often a deep orange colour. The drive to Halifax is a slow meandering drive partially along the coast.
