We've coined a term called 'Casual Elegance', which is to say that Villa Encantada has an upscale, enchanting, magical presence to it. It's decorated with a Central American theme of Antiques, Indigenous Masks, colorful tapestries, and lots of glass to give the feeling of being immersed in nature. We've found that more and more travelers are trying to escape the well beaten path of tourist traps and are looking for a place to get away from it all, and to experience the Real Costa Rica and it's friendly people. The village of Nuevo Arenal offers that Great Escape. ...yet Easy Day Trips to top attractions are well within reach. This is the Best of Both Worlds! We've been renting Villa Encantada for going on 9 years now and have hosted thousands of guests, a great many of them have visited numerous times. Household Amenities~~ All rooms in the villa are fully furnished, and have their own private entrance. Imported Italian tile, and exotic hardwood and hand-carved doors throughout the villa. There are two fireplaces (in the living room and master bedroom). The kitchen is fully equipped including a microwave, blenders, and coffee maker among other appliances. Other amenities include a wet bar, telephone, Fax, DirectTV, VCR, DVD, Internet connection and stereo system. Linens and towels are provided. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience. Maid service is provided every third day. A cook can be arranged for a reasonable fee (extra). Villa Encantada's main level has vaulted ceilings (28 ft. high) and two stories of floor to ceiling glass give a feeling of total immersion in the lush tropical surroundings and manicured gardens with a majestic view of Lake Arenal to the front of the home and the rain forest with its natural ponds, ornamental plants and waterfalls at your back door.
