Waterfront Description & Nearby Activities
Our cottage and log cabin are both only 30 feet from the very large Lake Aylmer, with breathtaking panoramic views from every window. So heavily wooded you will never see a neighbor. Behind the cottage is a water garden with waterfall from a giant rock designed for meditation.
Canoeing, sailing, good fishing, and swimming. Stroll the Camp Comfort lane and the old Route #1, enjoy the loons.
Very rarely do guests leave the property, but if you do, you can climb Mout Ham, drive or bike these upper Appalachians hills, taste the local poutine, hike to a limestone cave (15 minutes), ride horses (20 minutes), or downhill ski (40 minutes).

More details on these activities are on my Web site. 10 minutes from Class3 whitewater rapids which you can go down with our canoe. We have a row boat and Laser sailboat.
It's private enough between weekends that one could go nude bathing.
We offer yoga classes and Thai Massage in bedroom #6. We also can provide vegetarian catering if you have a large group, and want to eat very well. Visit our yoga web site to see what that looks like www.yogaretreatquebec.com

The Howell's Aug 2007
"Just a quick note to say thank you for our wonderful week at the cottage. We had such a lovely time and returned home with our internal batteries fully recharged. It was decided unanimously that we would like to return next year, only this time we will take the precaution of booking for 2 weeks..
Camp Comfort was everything we could have hoped -- there were plenty of activities for those who wanted to be active and plenty of cozy spots for those who wanted to curl up with a book. We are already looking forward to coming back!"
