I had a beautiful stay in Limoncello, the apartment was perfect for me, it was a real home from home I enjoyed being able to cook in the very well equipped kitchen. A very peaceful spot and still only a few minutes walk to the town with so much going on and lot's of lovely cafe's to choose from. Many thanks Magi Traynor ---Donegal, Ireland Magi Traynor - Oct 7, 2009 |

My partner and I stayed at Limoncello in the beautiful town of Taormina in Sicily. The apartment is ideally located just five minutes’ walk to the main walking street of Taormina, and is only two minutes walk to the nearest supermarket. The bus station is easy to reach and opposite the bus station there is a cable car that will bring you to the beaches. The apartment is well maintained with air conditioning and T.V. And to us was a home from home. As you walk down the tiled stairs from the private entrance gate you are met by a patio that has beautiful plants and patio furniture, and is well looked after, the patio has the best of both worlds when comes to sunshine. In the mornings and late evening there is a welcomed shade that is a joy to sit in after been in the sun all day and have a quit cup of coffee and relax. After about 12pm midday, the sun shines till evening time giving plenty of time for those sun worshippers to bask in the sun for most of the day. Entering the apartment it is very spacious, to the left is a T.V. aria with a T.V. with satellite stations, and free internet connection. On the right is the kitchen with all modern convenience including microwave and instant ice making fridge. Off the kitchen there is a shower room with washing machine and laundry facilities. From the entrance to the apartment there is a sliding glass door that leads you to the bed room, it is quite adequate and has a good bed, air conditioning, large wardrobe, and on suit shower with separate spa bath. We found it was cool at night and didn’t need the air conditioning, but it’s a comfort to know it’s there if needed because it can get very warm at night in Sicily. Your host Pam and her husband are very nice people who will help you out in any way they can and are always on hand in the apartment next door. In short we loved the place and would recommend it to anyone, we stayed there for a week and it was clean, not to hot at night, easy access to town and the beaches, and was very welcoming , 5 out 5 from us... Our stay at Apartment Limoncello was splendid. The apartment is very well-equiped with modern amenities and there is obvious attention payed to detail. I never expected to find as many comforts as I would in my own home but the apartment is stocked with just about everything one would need to feel comfortable. Taormina is a beautiful town full of ancient and contemporary charm. Staying at Apartment Limoncello only added to the ambience and enchantment of our vacation. Looking forward to returning in the near future! Tiziana Molella - Sep 10, 2009 |

The apartment is lovely, so well located and with every mod.con. We were a bit foolhardy and went in mid.August. Sicily was, needless to say, very hot! But Limoncello was an oasis of peace and shade. Pam and her husband Aldo are fantastic. The pre-trip help and advice, and the care whilst we were with them, really made the holiday. I highly recommend this holiday to fellow travellers.

We spent a wonderful week in Pamela's delightful apartment. It is exquisitely furnished and very comfortable. The location is excellent for walking throughout Taormina. In addition, be sure to book her step-son Christy for one or more of his fascinating tours.

A luxurious apartment in a quiet area of Taormina but not far from the centre. Very cool in the heat of the summer. Friendly and knowledgable owner.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for a week in early July 2009. It is spacious, has all necesary things and a few extras, such as an ice crasher in the fridge and a jacuzzi in one of the bathrooms. It was handy to have 2 bathrooms by the way - saved us some time in the morning getting ready for excursions to Etna and the Aeolian islands. We didn't use the aircon, as the apartment was never too warm and it would quickly cool down when the windows were open. The apartment is about 4-5 minutes walk to the town's High Street, called Corso Umberto, with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants, which was convenient for getting home after dinner. The supermarket is about the same distance and was useful to have it close by, as we had breakfast and lunch in the flat. The owner of the flat is lovely and tries to help you with absolutely everything and lives just above.

The owners have thoughtfully designed and furnished a small, but most adequate apartment for up to four people in a quiet location in beautiful Taormina. The facilities for a contented holiday have been generously provided and breakfasting in sight of Mt Etna is a joy.

I visited the Lemoncello in April (2009) and it far exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and modern. Each of the two bathrooms had a trying rack. The unit had a spacious feeling to it. The wireless internet worked great. Pam's son meet me at the bus station and she was very helpful with questions. No doubt, I would stay there again. I also found it very reasonably priced. I would recommend it to my friends. The unit is located just outside the main activity of town and is about a 5 mintute walk. There is no view, but a nice, small patio in front. The unit is on the ground floor and there is an outside flight of stairs to go down/up upon entering/leaving. (e.g caution for those with knee problems and lots of luggage). The unit was very quiet. I had a fantastic 2 weeks stay in Taormina and at Limoncello. Limoncello is a great apartment with all the extras and the location in Taormina is excellent. The owner, Pam, was also very helpful and made my stay that more pleasant. I highly recommend Taormina and Limoncello. Carlo Ricci - Jul 8, 2009 |
