Masachapa-Pochomil Oceanfront Vacation Rental <br /><br />This vacation destination at Casa LaSasso may be the best choice for you and your friends/family, The 4 bedroom,6bathroom easily sleeps 3 to a room, you could always role out another mattress for more people, also the hammocks make a great bed. Masachapa is the nearest beach to the national airport in Managua. The house also includes a very large full kitchen, along with a bar and very large patio, you can not get any closer to the beach, the house was built basically on the sand. There is an upstairs bar as well that you are welcome to enjoy the view of the coast. Infront of the house are natural rock pools that when the tide is out they heat up like mini hot tubs and are great to relax in. Depending on what month you visit snorkelling can be great less than 100 yrds from the patio, fresh fish and lobster are sold every morning less than 200 yrds down the beach. Masachapa is a small fishing village, I live there with my wife and 3yr old daughter. I am a American and I would say it is 10 times safer than your average neighborhood in the states, It is also 10 times poorer, making things 10 times cheaper, a beer at the bar is about 75 cents, a horseback tour is about 2 dollares 50 cents a hour on the beach, lobster is 3 dollares a pd, and red snapper is 2 dollars a pd. you can check the house out at www.casalasasso.webnode.com

There are also many beach bars in the neighboring town of Pochomil, it is very touristy the surf is not that bad either.
