This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay! We highly recommend it and hope to get back and rent it again. Not only is the condo exceptional, the owner keeps in touch well and is nice to work with. The condo lives up to its description in every way. The decorating and furnishings are especially attractive, the design is spacious and well laid out, it's immaculately clean, and the seating and beds are comfy, too! The neighborhood is well kept and peaceful, and usually we were the only ones at the pool across the street. Nice! The large, enclosed courtyard of the condo added to a feeling of privacy and serenity, with only an occasional plane from the nearby airport (less than 10 minutes away) reminding you that other people like to vacation there, too! The view of the mountains and palm trees from the courtyard or the pool is awesome! Having a grocery store and shopping center a block away was really handy. And if you're a walker or a runner, it's easy to head out the door and go for as short or as long a distance as you'd like on lovely side streets. There's even a "fitness park" nearby - complete with drinking foutains - within a large, attractive city park as you head toward downtown Palm Springs.Getting anywhere we wanted to go was a snap from this location. There's certainly no traffic congestion there. I traveled back and forth to Rancho Mirage daily and it was an easy, relaxed, commute. Downtown Palm Springs itself is literally just minutes away by car (or a pretty long walk) and parking is never an issue. A free deck always had space, but finding street parking was easy. Dining is fabulous there! We spent a lot of our free time partaking of sidewalk seating and poking around unique and often surprisingly affordable shops in the pretty little laid-back town. terry jo - Dec 14, 2008 |
