There are excellent walking and biking trails, kayaking, sailing, and canoeing in the Martin Point and Friendship area. Kayaks are available to be rented in Friendship Village, just five minutes away, and the public landing, for launching a boat or kayak, is nearby.<br /> <br /> Lobster festivals, whale watches, museums, art galleries, and antique merchants are common to the area. The famous Moody?s Diner is 15 minutes away, and the Rockport/Camden area, Pemaquid Point, and Boothbay regions are less than 40 minutes away.
