All are decorated in sunny carribean colors.The kitchen, living and step up dinig area are all open with 5 sets of sliders that wrap around in an L shape with panoramic ocean front views as well as overlooking the town of Akumal night lights. The kitchen has a large circular counter with 6 bar stools and all the amenities for the chefs. The living area has 2 couches and a lounger with an entertainment center/DVD to watch a movie from the selection. Walk out to the covered porch to soak up the breezes and overlook the splashing waves and the infinity pool. The dining area has a large glass top and 6 chairs. The gazebos have built in couches, lounges to snooze in and table and chairs to sip marqaritas. Akumal is a delightful town in the mayan riviera. Snorkeling is superb. Akuaml stands for turtle and you will see plenty of them. There is a barrier reef in front of the unit and many a sea creature can be found. We are 100 yards to a quaint village of great restaurants, internet cafe, groceries and shops, happy hours, and boat trips. Daily maid service keeps you busy on pleasurable ventures.
