This is a one of a kind experience to sleep beneath literally thousands of visible stars in the oldest or second oldest (depends who you ask) home on the entire Gulf Coast of Florida. How many people can say that? Come stay with us and become one of the few. The home was built in the mid to late 1800s and in 2004 was renovated by a great United States historian and author of numerous works, Stan Klos. The outer walls of the home are 14" thick! Constructed in the local masonry form of "tabby," a mix of shells, sand, straw and concrete the home is very solid. The 2nd level has a wrap around covered deck with ceiling fans and ample seating. If the breeze is right you can even enjoy the coastal breeze all night while sleeping on the open deck or patio.
