We have miles and miles of vineyards, orchards and Kettle Valley biking/hiking trails with awesome views of the lakes and mountains. The air is clean, there is a beautiful fresh water lake at each end of the city, the 4 seasons are distinct and deliver something different and special such as the lakes and beaches are SO summer..hot and tropical; the spring is great for walking, biking and hiking, views of the valley's fruit orchards in blossom are heavenly; fall brings a huge harvest from the many growers of fresh produce as well as apples and pears and grapes are ready to be picked and crisper weather brings a promise of snow in the mountains for those waiting for their first days of skiing and snowshoeing. You get all of this in a friendly and safe community. There are some good restaurants too. So, what's not to like!!! Area Description: Penticton is so special.
