Residential flat in elegant Roman villa at Castel Gandolfo (Rome) Castel Gandolfo lies to the SE of Rome, along the Appia Nuova, in the Castelli Romani Park. Perched on the lip of the Lake Albano crater, the town is only 20 km from the center of Rome (appr. 30 minute drive) and yet it feels like a small hill-town nestled in the hills of Tuscany or Umbria. The area is surrounded by a delicious natural context, and is the summer residence of the Pope. 
This 105sqm/1130sqft large apartment is part of a luxury, quiet villa where we live (my family all speak a reasonable english), is proposed fully-furnished (TV, wireless Internet, garden with private parking, washing-machine, dish-washer,...), and it is a walking distance (200m/600ft) to shops and public transportation. 
It is the ideal place to basing a relaxing, sporting and cultural holiday, few km away from the eternal city and all of its historical reminders. 
It consists of a very large living-dining room (up to three additional sleeps), a master king bedroom, another bedroom with two single twin beds and an eat-in kitchen. 
You can also enjoy the villa's garden; panoramic view over the green, private parking too. 
Rome downtown ("Termini" Central Station) is a 40' train trip (hourly scheduled, local train station at 700m/2000ft walking distance). 
Bus to the underground (30' trip) stops in front of the villa.
