Spend a relaxing vacation in Italy at Villa La Rogaia. La Rogaia is a stylish country house above Lake Trasimeno. Explore Umbria right from our doorstep, see Perugia, Assisi and Siena. La Rogaia offers five self catering vacation rentals for 1 to 8 persons. Master craftsmen known for their artistic flair within an ancient tradition have restored all buildings at Villa La Rogaia. Outstanding art works in marble and other stoneworks by the sculptor Wolfgang Sandt give this holiday home a very special touch. A large flower garden and sculpture park surround the buildings. A pool close to the house offers refreshment on hot summer days. All apartments have private terraces and tranquil gardens to enjoy. Three holiday apartments are situated in the main house. 20 mtrs away there are two more apartments in our small house. Two of the apartments as well as the garden and the pool are accessible for wheelchairs. Since we have children ourselves we specially welcome families with children. Kids will find plenty of space inside and around the house to play and discover nature. Pets are welcome.Villa La Rogaia also offers creative classes (sculpting painting and drawing), dance courses and cookery classes.

The panoramic drive (10 km) to Lago Trasimeno is as pleasant as the lake itself, dotted with islands and castles. There you will find unspoilt nature and a variety of sports and leisure activities (swimming, surfing, sailing, canoeing).
For sightseeing there are many historically relevant towns within easy driving distance from the villa, such as Assisi, Perugia, Cortona, Arezzo and Siena. Make a travel in time to Etruscan, medieval and renaissance art or just enjoy a cappucino sitting on the piazza.
For your wellness we offer massages at our house or trips to the famous ancient thermal spas in near Tuscany. Or discover local foods, excellent wines and extra virgin olive oils on a gourmet travel in Umbria and Tuscany.
