Description - Self-catering apartment in seaside village near Volos
This self-catering apartment for holiday rental is in a large villa in the seaside village of Amaliapolis, near Volos. There are 4 apartments in this vacation villa on the Greek mainland which can each sleep up to 4 people so that the villa can accommodate up to 16 people in all. Each apartment is self contained with one twin bedroom with air conditioning, a bathroom with full bath with shower attachmentand an open plan living/ dining area which has a small double sofa bed and well equipped kitchen facilities. The living room has a ceiling fan. Several balconies help to make the most of the wonderful sun with views of the sea from the apartments on the top floor and the olive clad hillsides to make for a really relaxing Greek holiday rental. You can also enjoy the shady garden with its tables and chairs, barbecue facilities and swings for your children.
The villa is in a quiet location on the edge of the seaside village of Amaliapolis. There is a lovely sandy beach within walking distance (700m) and you can easily walk to the village centre with a selection of tavernas, cafes and basic shops including a couple of bakeries for fresh baked breakfast breads. The tavernas have wonderful freshly caught fish and simple Greek cuisine. The beach is great for kids and there are a couple of beach bars in the main season. There is also a children’s playground, 5-a-side football pitch and volleyball court next to the beach. Amaliapolis is popular with Greek families who vacation in August but is quiet for the rest of the year - a great place to get away from it all. The Volos/Thessaly area has very little tourism from outside Greece and so you can really experience a taste of authentic Greece here.
Situated mid-way between Athens and Thessaloniki, Amaliapolis makes a great base for touring mainland Greece - so please let us welcome you to our self-catering accommodation for your next Greek vacation.
