The Garden of the Silver Palm, c. 1797, is a historic Danish Manor Home, in the neighborhood of Blackbeard's Castle, many museum homes, the original Danish Consulate, and within walking distance to town's fine dining and world class shopping.

Within the property's stone walls, are beautiful gardens, koi ponds, with multicolored humming birds and banaquits flitting freely.  Views are out over the red roofs of town and on to the Caribbean Sea, with sea planes, sail boats, and glorious sunsets in sight.

The Bluestone is very large apartment, more of a private residence, is a part of the property and is named aptly, from the walls being over one and one-half foot thick; constucted from our island's native rock. 

The Bluestone is a two bedroom apartment, with full kitchen and bath, a breakfast room, a raised dining area, and a large, comfortable living area.  It is fully screened, and has a sunset viewing veranda, also screened.  A garden shower is located just off the master bedroom. A covered patio, with gas grill, table and chairs is just off the kitchen entrance.

The Bluestone's Sunflower Room holds a king bed and the Hibiscus Room holds a queen bed.  Or, each bedroom can be made up as double twins, if preferred.  Each bedroom has a large closet, antique furnishngs, and views.

The Bluestone is steps away from the sun deck and dip pool, with umbrelled tables and chairs, and loungers surrounded by rare and flowering tropic plants.

The Bluestone comes fully furnished, equiped, and tastefully decorated. All cooking and dining ware, linens, bath supplies, a library, and so much more, await you.

The Bluestone complimentary amenities include:

The Bluestone is not air conditioned, but is open to the island breezes, with ample ceiling fans and personal fans.  The thick stone walls keep the apartment cool, along with trade winds directly off the Caribbean Sea. Original louverd shutters enclose the doors and windows.

The Bluestone is within walking distance to all manner of transportation, shopping, dining, attractions, and tours.  It is minutes to beaches, ferries, and the airport.

The Bluestone is ideal for families, couples, and small groups.  Also, The Bluestone, as a "begining and end" stay, is a perfect for pre/post sail or adventure  trips.  For either a full stay, adventure, or sail trips, food and beverage provisioning may be arranged, , at cost, plus delivery and installation fee. (Not all items requested may be available; quality substitutions on approval, only.)
