Escape to our secluded home, with its private and serene setting, in the town of Tombstone Arizona!Accommodations: Historic home with three bedrooms, 4th bedroom/den with futon, two baths, living room, dining room, kitchen, covered front porch, screened-in back porch, and patio. Sleeps six to eight. Welcome to our charming home. Open year-round, you will find it has everything to offer, just bring your clothes and food. We even supply some of that, like coffee, tea, condiments, and some pantry items. Our home is just a five minute walk from the historic district on Allen Street. Be sure to visit the O.K. Corral and see a re-enactment of the legendary gunfight between Wyatt, Virgil, and Morgan Earp and Doc Holliday as well as the Clanton and McClaurey brothers. Have lunch at Big Nose Kate's Saloon, tour the Bird Cage Theatre, take a stagecoach or covered wagon ride through town, see the world's largest rose tree (listed in the Guiness Book of World Records), visit Boot Hill Cemetery, see an old-time, western shoot-out re-enactment at Helldorado Town. You will see people roaming the streets in period dress as Cowboys, Gunslingers, Marshals, saloon girls, and other townspeople of Tombstone's famous past. You can join in by renting period costumes at local vendors, if you wish. Have your picture taken at one of many stores dressed in your favorite old west costume. Shop right on historic Allen Street and get souvenirs of the Wild West. You could also take a jeep tour and see the spectacular mountain views. If you do not mind staying up a little late, take the Tombstone Spirit Walk, starting at 11:00 p.m. and get a different view of the "Town Too Tough to Die." Take a drive one day and see the many "ghost towns" throughout the area. Drive about 20 minutes outside of downtown Tombstone and see a one-of-a-kind place - "Rattlesnake Crafts." The owners were featured on the "Today Show." You will never see another "store" like this!Take a short drive towards Tucson and see the beautiful Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Colossal Cave, Saquaro National Park, or Old Tucson Studios - site of many of the famous Western movies. Head south and visit Douglas or Nogales, Arizona, or Mexico. Visit Sierra Vista (20 minute drive), considered to be the bird watching capital of the North America. Tour the copper mines of Bisbee and shop at the numerous antiques shops and art galleries.
