Krog's Kamp is a unique Alaska fishing resort situated in a serene setting on the banks of the world famous Kenai River. Your hosts are Mel and Bob Krogseng. Mel is a former Air Force flight nurse and Bob is a retired Air Force Officer having flown the F101 Voodoo and the F-4 Phantom with over 230 combat missions in Vietnam. Together, they will make every effort to ensure that your Alaska vacation will be every thing you ever dreamed of and more. Your hosts have been Alaska residents for over 38 years and have lived and worked all over Alaska from the North Slope to the southeast Panhandle. Their indepth knowledge of the Last Frontier will provide you with an unlimited amount of information.

Krog's Kamp offers exciting guided salmon & trout fishing trips on the world-famous Kenai River and guided halibut trips on Cook Inlet. We also offer unique packages that include cabin and/or chalet accommodations, guided fishing trips and other activities such as flyout fishing trips, bear viewing, whale watching,fly fishing excursions, hiking, Kenai Fjords tours, dog sledding, horseback riding and flightseeing, just to name a few.

There are large attached 1, 2, and 3 bedroom townhouse style chalets overlooking the Kenai River, detached 2 bedroom forest view chalets, 1 bedroom rustic cabins and small bungalows. All of our facilities have private baths, covered decks, and most have fully equipped kitchens. Some have gas log fireplaces. All chalets, cabins, and bungalows have gas grills. Our facilities are smoke free and we ask our guests to bring along slippers for use while indoors.There is also a spa area with large hot tub, sauna, and gym where folks can relax after a long day; or, try a hand at horseshoe pitching; or, sit around the firepit swapping adventure tales and fish stories.There are picnic tables, lawn chairs, and grated walkways adjacent to the river for use and enjoyment of our guests.
