There are 2 State Redwood Parks just minutes from the house, Big Basin & Henry Cowell. About 10 min to another famous attraction, 'Roaring Camp Railroad'. An authentic antique steam engine railroad. You can take either a short run up the mountain or catch the morning train into Santa Cruz where it ends at the Beach & boardwalk, spend a few hours there and catch the afternoon train back. Highly Recommendable. There is also in just a short drive a place called The Mystery Spot. Here you will defy gravity and all your natural senses. Everything mentioned above will be enjoyed by all ages, we have had many great times introducing people to the area attractions.
