Area Description: The condo complex is on the beach with elevator access to the beach level from the condo. You may take a very short walk to the harbor area for both fine and casual dining, boat rentals, deep sea fishing trips, whale watching etc. Also a short walk to the Oceanside pier for fishing and dining, and downtown Oceanside for theaters, dining and access to railroad connections. Railroad connections include Amtrak, Coaster (to San Diego), and Metrolink (to Orange County and Los Angeles).
10 minute drive to Legoland, 45 minutes to Disneyland, Sea World, Scripps Aquarium, San Diego Zoo, Safari Park, Water slide park, etc.

Children love watching the Sea Lions in the nearby harbor area. Also we see Brown Pelicans daily fly by and dive for fish. A large pod of local dolphins routinely swim up and down along the coast and are easily spotted from our rooftop patio. Sunsets from the patio, or the sitting area inside the upstairs master bedroom are magnificent!
For sports enthusiasts, In addition to surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving & swimming, there is a wonderful bike path along the San Luis Rey River that starts here at the complex. Bike rentals are available. There are many Golf courses nearby as well as public tennis courts.
There are 2 or 3 surfing competitions every month along the Oceanside beachfront. Ironman and running marathon events are held annually. Oceanside has a surf museum, art gallery, and live theaters.
You can walk to a beautiful municipal library, a Thursday farmers market and evening street fair.
