Head south along Highway 19 , (this is the long route to Tampa) and you will eventually come to Clearwater and Treasure Island Beach’s, miles of golden sand and water sports. Along the way through Port Richey & Hudson are many fast food outlets, shopping malls, flea-markets, pawn shops, supermarkets & outlet shops. You name it and you will probably find it. You can also visit the Casino Ship @ Port Richey. Get a free Breakfast & return trip. But don't lose your shirt !!. The quickest route to Tampa and Clearwater, is the new interstate highway just along Highway 50, towards ORLANDO and turn right onto the new Sun coast Parkway, a toll road. Only 40 mins to Tampa , 45 mins to the Airport, approx $4, each way. St. John's Pass, near Clearwater is a tourist area with small quaint shops, T-shirts, local artists work, Jet ski hire, Ski boat hire, Cruise ship day trips out into the Gulf of Mexico and deep sea fishing charter boats. Also miles of sun drenched sea and sand. Crystal River, just 20 miles North, has a small Shopping Mall, and a wildlife park where you can view the Manatees close up. Facilities to swim with the Manatees is also available in the area. Spring Hill, on the Gulf coast of Florida, is in a much envied position, and growing in popularity. Due to its location, it is ideally situated for viewing the attractions of central Florida, and visiting the local beaches without excess driving.
