The Hale Mauka “The House Above” is a direct oceanfront upstairs suite on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and offers commanding views from one end of Hauula bay to the other with the beautiful Koolau Mountains beyond. This is a spacious (1,500+ sf living area) two bedroom, two bath second floor duplex home with porcelain tile floors in the living area and wall to wall carpet in the bedrooms. The Hale Mauka features a complete, large and open, modern kitchen with a breakfast bar, sealed top stove/range, microwave, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The living area is light and airy with tropical-style furniture and enjoys breathtaking ocean views. There are two three-person couches for your comfort in addition to an adjacent dining area with seating for up to six. The master suite is furnished with tropical furniture and a king-size, pillow-top bed. The master bath features decorative ceramic tile work and has amazing ocean and mountain views to enjoy while showering. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and tropical furniture for an airy island feel. Close by are world famous North Shore attractions such as the Hauula hiking trails & preserve, Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay Resort & Golf, Brigham Young University, Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay, Kualoa Ranch and the last unspoiled "Hawaiian" style towns on Oahu. Rental Rates for this Vacation Rental Property
RATES is USD and based upon amount of nights booked:
For bookings of: Nightly:
3 nights or more $274.99
5 nights or more $249.99
7 nights or more $224.99
We charge a flat rate of $2,100.00 for reservations covering Christmas or New Year's Holiday. This rate covers up to 7 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal nightly rate. Christmas reservations must vacate by December 29 and New Years reservations cannot arrive earlier than December 29. Reservations which include both Christmas and New Years are billed a flat rate of $4,200.00 and cover up to 14 nights. Additional nights are billed at the normal rate.
TERMS:
All rates quoted are based upon four (4) person occupancy and are charged based upon the amount of nights you stay.
Absolute minimum requirement for booking a reservation is three (3) nights.
Minimum requirement for Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving, Easter and BYU Graduation (Spring) is 7 nights.
Minimum requirement for Memorial Day, Labor Day and Fourth of July is 5 nights.
Add $15.00 daily charge for each additional guest over four (4) person occupancy up to a maximum of six (6) people, including children over 1 year of age..
One (1) parking stall is provided per vacation home. Extra parking is available for a one-time $20 per vehicle fee.
Add a $104.71 one-time cleaning fee to all reservations.
Rates and fees are subject to change without notice. Special prices and required lengths of stay may apply around popular holidays & long weekends. Call for more details.

Cancellation Policy
To hold your reservation we require a non-refundable 25% advance deposit. No reservation is guaranteed until the rental agreement ("terms and conditions") has been agreed to online (during reservation process) and the initial deposit paid. Any changes to the reservation after the agreement is accepted and the deposit is paid will be subject to a one-time $100 administrative processing charge (excluding cancellation of a reservation when deposit is non-refundable). If you cancel after final payment has been made, or after arrival at the property, you agree to forfeit all rents prepaid except for any amount we are able to recover through re-renting the property. We reserve the right to re-rent the property for less than the amount you agreed to pay and will refund only the amount we are able to recover. No exceptions to this policy will be made for any reason. You are advised to obtain travel insurance coverage.
