Book now for you hassle-free vacation: We provide all the linens, cookware, etc?just bring yourself, a fishing pole, and a six-pack of a nice cold beverage. In review: Hiawatha National Forest is the perfect getaway for fisherman, boaters (water sports), hunting, snowmobiles, and sightseeing. It has something for everyone. While fairly secluded, there are still a few comforts only 8 miles away: The Thunder Lake Store offers everything you could want or need (or forgot). If you don?t have a good day fishing, then no problem, they are known for their pizza! They also offer the only affordable gasoline within the forest. Why maneuver the crowded public lakes and bays, when you can make a short drive to these secluded inland lakes? You don?t even have to trailer your boat daily, just leave it parked at our private dock?. There is every fish available from smaller pan fish to walleye and pike.
