Tradtional New England home in the small, friendly village of Jamaica (located just off Main Street)with a porch out front and a sundeck at the back, big grassy garden, with the Ball Mountain Brook running across it. House is almost 200 years old, and has loads of character.
Great location for families as children can go up to the store and down to the Park without crossing a main road. Spacious living area: Living Room open to the Country Kitchen and sundeck. Separate TV room (with cable TV. Dining Room (with internet access). Separate laundry room. Two bathrooms with showers and a tub. Upstairs are four bedrooms (3 with handbasins) and a half bathroom.
House has been our summer home for 30+ years, is very well-maintained and fully equipped. House has its own deep well providng cool fresh water. House has a big red barn attached (space for two cars), an acre of land (mostly lawn), and about 100 feet of brook frontage.

Jamaica is a village with charm. Has 2 restaurants, coffee shop, hardware and grocery stores, weaving shop, two art galeries, and gift shop -- all within two minutes' walk from the house. Pick up your favorite newspapers before breakfast. Great location for summer sports, flea markets, theatre and music; take the children to sandy beaches with lake boating and swimming; enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables locally grown; hike, play tennis, go riding, canoeing, and play golf. Or just laze about in the peace and beauty of a small friendly village.
