| Detailed Description | Ski in winter, swim and fish in summer, and get away for a special vacation any time of year at these attractive cottages on two small scenic lakes. All have attracive rustic decor, yet with the comforts of home. Three of the cottages are on Metcalf Pond in Fletcher, near Jeffersonville and the Smugglers Notch ski area. This is one of the most scenic parts of Vermont, a rural area with local attractions such as a winery, horseback riding, and a corn maze. Many of our guests also use the cottages as home base for day trips to Montreal or other attractions throughout the area. The cottage on Lake Iroquois is closer to the Burlington area, a college town with many cultural activities. A rowboat and/or canoe is provided at each cottage. Each has a full kitchen, and is fully furnished including sheets, towels, dishes, charcoal for the grills, and even food suitable for a few breakfasts. Depending on the cottage, other perks may include a hot tub, a fireplace, fire pit, washer and dryer, computer, and many others. |
