We truly loved this little hidden gem. The pictures don't do it justice. All the little things done there really make it special. We really hated to leave but are already making plans for another trip back to this lovely house that is full of care and thoughtfulness. They accomplished their goal, everything was perfect. I am sorry to say that they will find many deep scratches in the woodwork around the upstairs door and the downstairs door frames where I had to pull my wife and daughter, who had death grips with their fingernails, while I tried to pull them out of the house kicking and screaming because they refused to leave and go to Kauai!!! The place is beyond description and I don't have enough superlative adjectives to describe all the wonderful things I think about their Maile Treehouse. They have done such a superb job designing, decorating, and detailing, and are extremely talented. It is such a restful, peaceful, mystical place and we just loved discovering and relishing all the little things they have done to make it beyond special. We loved every minute we were there and in fact stayed many hours in the mornings just so we could enjoy the ambiance, listen to the gentle music provided and chill... We are so sorry we only booked for three nights at this truly divine invention. Keith Gross - Jul 21, 2009 |

Words can't begin to describe this wonderful retreat. We loved exploring the house and the garden, along with all of their "treasures" They have created something magical with the Maile Treehouse~ a peaceful- serene escape from the pressures and hustle bustle of everyday life. We greatly enjoyed our stay~will definitely be back. Mahalo Michelle and Andrew Michelle Knapp - Jun 24, 2009 |

I LOVE the place! As a matter of fact, I was struck by how many small touches you have up there that I have in my own home. I kept moving around saying "Look, she has this too!" Anyway, the place is so wonderful--everything about it. You have done a remarkable job of making people feel at home. And what a spot! I'm jealous. Aloha, and can't wait to stay there again. This is truly a wonderful place to stay. We enjoyed the beauty and serenity of this home. We plan to recommend it to all of our friends and to stay more than two nights if we ever return to the Big Island. Mahalo, Mollie and Leo

Leslie, from the minute we arrived it felt so serene and calming. The place is beautiful and the detail you put into it to make it home is more than anyone could ask for. From the Aloha message in stone to the fresh flowers, breakfast pancakes and coffee, etc., to the beautiful decorations and ornaments, this is truly a special place. I loved the rich wood and the tranquility of the entire setting. Your welcome book was very helpful. Another wonderful personal touch. We went to the Hope Church beside the Orchid Farm on the highway for the Easter service. It was also beautiful and uplifting and everyone was so friendly. It put us in the Easter mood and was just what we needed since this is the first time in my childrens' lives that we were not with them for Easter.. We had a lovely pancake breakfast here afterwards and that is what we would normallly do at home. So we felt better and the Easter spirit was with us in that beautiful Tree House and setting. I just want to say how much we enjoyed your tree house. It is beautifully done and all of the extra care and touches that you've provided really make it a delight. We got to explore the park thoroughly and a lot of the rest of the island. Thank you so much for the recommendations on places to eat and things to see. Everything worked out beautifully. We so loved your treehouse! It was a perfect part of our long awaited trip (still honeymooning after 2 1/2 years) I know we will return often in our minds... if not in person. Mahalo for your kindness and hospitality. CB and Monte Carol Williams - Mar 16, 2009 |
