From the first of December through to March Break, weather permitting, the outdoor rink at the Oakview Woods is operating in full swing. This facility has an artificial ice surface along with a heated change room, washrooms, night lighting and music during supervised hours which makes the facility a special winter attraction for both local residents and tourists alike.
Each of the Township of Tiny’s community parks offers free skating (weather permitting) on Township outdoor ice rinks. Rinks are located at:

OUTDOOR SKATING
The Town has an outdoor skating rink (winter months only) located at the Oakview Woods Outdoor Complex. This is right beside our RecPlex at 1724 Mosley Street.
CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
Located in Wasaga Beach is the Wasaga Nordic Centre. It is owned and operated by the Ministry of Natural Resources and offers 30 kms of cross country ski trails. Call (705) 429-0943 for more information or visit their winter activities site.
SNOWMOBILING
Wasaga Beach is a well known destination for snowmobilers in Ontario. The Wasaga Beach Snowmobile Club maintains the trails in Stayner as well. We have 159 kms of trail in the area and look forward to seeing you on them. Restaurants, accommodations and gas are all easily accessible from the trail.
